Maple Syrup - Sugar on Snow Season
In Vermont the sap starts to flow when the temperature starts to rise, usually in late
February to mid-April. This is a great time of year to visit to see the steam rising from the Sugar House after the sap has been collected and is being boiled down to pure Maple Syrup. Tasting the different grades of fresh Maple Syrup is a real treat. Sugar-on-Snow parties are popular at a lot of Sugarhouses in Vermont.
